Player upgrades in Franchise Mode have shifted over to a scheme match system and player stats have been increased by ditching points into a play style that will reward feature bonuses randomly inside that play style's forte. The system isn't bad, but useless unless you manually do cheap Madden 20 coins for every one of your players, since the CPU will not auto-upgrade any players based on strategy fit. Scouting and drafting players stays unchanged from last year and is still quite underwhelming....
