Unfortunately, not all Lost Ark fans have much hope for the developers to make serious changes. As one commenter pointed out, many of the game’s problems become apparent a few hours in Lost Ark Gold, meanwhile, initially launched in Korea in 2019, long before the worldwide release earlier this month If developer Smilegate hasn’t addressed these problems by now, it begs the question of whether the studio will ever get around to it.
European Lost Ark players have been experiencing exceptionally long queue times since launch but it seems as though server capacity isn't increasing.
Lost Ark was made available to players in North America and Europe on February 11, and since then European players have battled to load into the game due to its cramped servers. Lost Ark's developer, Smilegate has now acknowledged that there will likely not be a fix for this issue any time soon.
Lost Ark's North American and European launch did not go smoothly. This prompted Amazon to offer players 3 free days of Crystalline Aura, which give plays 7,000 free experience per minute, a pet that can repair and store items, and allows players to recover Life Energy 10% faster than normal among other things. While Amazon made good on its promise, Lost Ark players in Europe are still experiencing unacceptably long queue times to join servers.
In an attempt to remedy this issue Amazon and Smilegate launched a Europe West Region. The issue with this, however, is the fact that the game currently does not give players the ability to transfer their progress to another server. This means that if players wish to join a less populated server, they will have to start from buy Gold Lost Ark scratch, which is a tall order in an MMORPG as extensive as Lost Ark. The game's official Twitter page also noted that increasing a server's capacity is currently not possible and adding more servers is also not likely owing to the complexities of the game's systems.
