Locating the Time

I've not played any MMORPGs sincethen, to my everlasting loss and shame. Real-life RuneScape gold cares multiply and I simply don't have time to allow them to pull me in. As with all games they're among the most demanding with endless levels to attain and things to acquire. Heck, people have died within or as a result of long sessions of RuneScape's older but more well-known sibling, World of Warcraft, which could also make it a horror game.

In the present, you'll usually find me playing Quake and Half-Life or hanging out on Team Fortress 2 - games that come in force make a mark on me and are gone quickly. It's fun to play games that I love and disappear quickly instead of worrying about how many logs of wood are in my inventory, or what I'm likely to go fishing in the coming session. It's true that I do miss part of the endless grind and the long-term commitment (and pain) associated with RuneScape. It's now in its third version with the name 'RuneScape 3' (from 2013) with added content and a graphical revamp, there's a hint of hope I may return to the game to check how it's doing like I would do with an old friend.

OSRS is more well-known than RS3, why?

A new player on the site, signed up in December. I began by testing both OSRS as well as rs3 and realized that although things were more beautiful in Rs3 and I could level faster, there was much more community interaction in OSRS and I decided to focus solely on old school. I'm wondering why is OSRS far more well-known than Rs3?

I'm sure that OSRS is more "classic" and "classic" but weren't long-time players their accounts and progress saved with rs3 even though they made changes to everything? In other words didn't people need to start over on OSRS? Should this not be a reason for people to stay on Rs3? My partner for example is LVL 126 in rs3 however 103 on OSRS. Thank you! I've been enjoying playing. base the 50s right now.

A sense of nostalgia and simple combat mechanics certainly attracted people into OSRS. The major changes made in RS3 (particularly EoC) pushed lots of players cheap RS gold away. It doesn't matter whether you had an account with a lot of money on RS3. The game became too different. A good thing in the moment, but I can see the reason there were so many who abandoned their characters.
