You are very fearful of repeatable quests and OSRS HD that will be optional and that won't impact you at all whatsoever, nor will either influence Runescape for you because you is decorative and the other won't give rewards? This type of Cheap OSRS Gold overreaction makes it hard to take what you're saying seriously. And new abilities - these things that a sizable majority of players want, but maybe not quite 75 percent in any particular case - yes, really Jagex are blowing off their whole player-base here. Do not overlook the massive amount of people that spite vote contrary to pvp updates just because they do not enjoy the community. Unpolled changes are fine if that is the case.
I agree with about everything you mentioned. It is correct that the best content of OSRS usually come from BOTH Jagex and community helping each other. But we should remember that Jagex by his own is also able of fantastic surprise if given the chance ( think about the way Twisted League was amazing, and we didnt understood much about it before release) I think when all League content has been polled beforehand, it would have been alot different and probably not as exctiting and surprising. What is wrong with repeatable quests? I assume, naturally, which they would just give rewards once.You're telling me that I will not have the ability to do The Knight's Sword over and over for a week to receive 200M smithing? And here I thought the whole leveling experience would be shattered with this particular one update.
I concur with everything you said except for you getting your panties on fire for them asking for telephone number at the close of the survey. There was also no requirement, whatsoever, to use your RS email, and you could always give a fake in Runescape game name if this area was demanded (not certain if it had been ). Extreme reaction for three disciplines you fully had autonomy on filling out. Employment status is standard market research. You would answer a question these days for virtually any survey that's trying to become serious about the demographics. Was a NEET triggered?
I might be in the minority here but I'd really like to see something like dungoneering added. Found it interesting that this came up in the survey but unlucky it had been tied to summoning (yuck). Really enjoyed the group facets of exploring/randomness and dungoneering to it. Also having to produce your own gear was cool so the wealthiest players didn't necessarily have an advantage going through the skill (nothing against these players, only found it was fun for the ability ). OSRS edition of Buy RS Gold dung may be sailing. So when its repolled later on vote, it'd be fine for OSRS to receive its exclusive skill much like our exclusive quests.
