Other classes are available too. The Gon Destroyer slots into what I would consider Blade and Soul Neo’s closest equivalent to a tank, and the Lyn Summoner, which is kind of a healer. Since there are no true healers or tanks, the game relies on a “downed system” which allows for players to revive themselves if they can stay out of combat for a specific period of time. Aggro swapping is a popular technique, with players juggling the attention of the boss to give party members room to breathe and heal. There is also some cross pollination with the classes the Blade Master can be selected by the Jin and Yun, the Forcemaster can be played by Jin, Yun, and Gon, the Kung-Fu Master by the Jin, Gon, and Yun, and the Summoner and Destroyer unique to the Lyn and Gon respectively. Blade and Soul Neo will roll out other classes, like the Warlock, through a planned update this spring. So if you’re looking to try out that class, you’re better off waiting. Because leveling Blade and Soul is a chore by comparison to modern MMORPGs. As to be expected, the grind is relatively slow. You get experience from side-quests, main scenario quests, and class specific quests, which are designated with color coordinated markers. The main scenario quests don’t provide enough experience to get you through the story unbothered, so you’ll want to pick up some side-quests along the way, which do help flesh out the world, even if objectives are as menial as picking a specific amount of flowers for an NPC or burning the bodies of jiangshi. You can also just do the main scenario and class quests if you want, it’ll just be a touch harder. But that’s where the fun comes in. Since Blade and Soul Neo is so skill based, you can tackle bosses and challenges at significantly lower levels and sometimes walk away victorious. It can take awhile to whittle these bosses down (which feel like they have inflated health pools in Neo), but it is possible. Better weapons do help, which can be obtained through quests or in-game gacha wheels that are littered throughout the handful of regions currently available in the game, along with Soul Shields. Soul Shields are where your stats come from, and you can customize what you want to prioritize, like attack and critical hits, and so forth. Sometimes Soul Shields from the earlier eras of the game might suit your playstyle more, and you can mix and match to varying effect. While some areas of Diablo 4 are instanced, there will be areas where you are able to run into other players, in which you struggle against them, or may potentially team up together. I also am uncertain how I think about shared world areas in a series that I have appreciated farming for more than a decade today. I am wondering if it's optional to have those instances with other gamers, or if it's going to be like Destiny where you literally cannot load into patrol zones by yourself.You can now ride mounts in Diablo 4, and also with this big, giant open world you'll be travelling less by going from teleporter to teleporter, and more by riding your mount around. I'm wondering how that will affect speed farming functions and only getting from point A to point B isn't a terribly interesting part of the sport, and I wonder if the entire idea of mounts was made just so...Diablo could sell mounts. This was just confirmed on flow. It is not clear just what Diablo 4 will be selling, but"decorative microtransactions" is enough to raise eyebrows in any loot-based game, simply ask Destiny, which is always at war with its playerbase within precisely the same matter. Diablo 4 boasted a transmorg system so that you could look however that did not cost anything and you wanted. However, what if Diablo 4 disagrees that with compensated"decorations" or something. That...would not be great. Diablo 4 finally started experimenting with selling items but nothing really stuck. It is possible these microtransactions may be nice and nothing, or else they might be a measure down from past games. We are going to see. This modifier can make the challenges even more difficult, but overcoming them will reward you with two more Ascendancy points. Once you've completed the Trial of Chaos, you'll be able to select another Ascendancy class or enhance your current abilities, further customizing your character's power. As you continue through Path of Exile 2, there are additional ways to earn Ascendancy points, especially if you're looking to push your character's development beyond the basic trials. In higher difficulty modes, you'll need to access more challenging versions of the earlier trials to earn more Ascendancy points.
